This notice explains how AceHost Cotswolds uses personal data when you visit www.acehostcotswolds.co.uk, enquire about a stay, or ask us to manage a holiday home. We process data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

AceHost Cotswolds is the controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at ben@acehost.ca or +1 604 764 8919. We do not publish a street address for this business.

What we collect

We collect what you send us, and limited technical data generated by the site:

  • Name, email, telephone number and any message you submit
  • Stay dates, group size, property interest and budget, when you give them
  • A property address or listing URL if you are an owner
  • Technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, needed to run and secure the site

Why we use it

  • To answer enquiries and arrange bookings or management reviews (contract or steps toward a contract)
  • To run and improve the website (legitimate interests)
  • To keep records required by law (legal obligation)
  • Optional analytics only if you accept cookies (consent)

Who we share it with

We share data with service providers who host email, the website and, where relevant, payment or booking tools. We may share guest details with a homeowner when that is needed to fulfil a stay. We do not sell personal data.

Some providers are outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism required by UK law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to complete the request and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, insurance and dispute handling. You can ask us to delete data where the law allows.

Cookies

Essential cookies remember your cookie choice. Analytics load only if you accept. See the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise rights, email ben@acehost.ca.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices or the law change, and revise the date at the top.
